The serial number dates '68, the neck is stamped '69 and the pots '66. The slight discrepancies in component dates are common in Fenders production around this time.
Overall the guitar is in fantastic shape. The original blonde finish has aged nicely and has a lovely amount of wear to it. There is some signs overspray on the neck and headstock as a result of a previous re-fret. The frets are quite low, but still playable and don't need any attention. The electronics are all original and work as they should.
Comes complete with its original Fender hard case and a certificate of authenticity which the previous owner got from the Vintage Guitar Boutique.
